• Place on flat pavement; lay plywood on pavers and soft edges.
  
• Keep a straight 60–80 ft approach; check 10–12 ft overhead clearance.
  
• Salt/sand on frost mornings. Knock ice off lids/rails before pickup.
  

4) Load sequence that beats winter delays

1. Dense debris base low/centered.
   
2. Corners filled with light items.
   
3. Break down everything; air pockets waste tonnage and shift loads.
   
4. Latch door, top off lightly, and stop at the rail.
